We at Burtonwood Lodging Co. are super excited to welcome guests back to the beautiful Hocking Hills!
We take a lot of pride in providing our guests with unique, clean, comfortable, quality lodging, designed by our family, for families like yours to enjoy all of what the Hocking Hills has to offer during your stay with us!
We also know that one of the best things for the high levels of stress that we have all been experiencing is a one of a kind staycation in one of our clean, cozy, and private cabins! We want you to feel secure in knowing that we are doing everything in our control to keep our staff, guests, and community safe.
What we’re doing to keep our staff, guests, and community safe
-Our housekeeping staff will always be wearing a face mask and disposable gloves while cleaning our cabins.
-CLEANING of all surfaces in the cabin is a normal part of our routine. We only use CDC approved cleaners and/or disinfectants.
-High touch surfaces are disinfected using a CDC approved disinfectant. High touch surfaces (if applicable) include: tables, chairs, headboards, handles, doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, cabinets, appliances, phones, remotes, faucets, sinks, blind handles/wands, gaming tables (and accessories), dart boards (and accessories), trash cans, keys, lock boxes, grills, hot tubs, exterior furniture.
-Hard surfaces are cleaned and then disinfected with a CDC approved disinfectant. Hard surfaces include flooring, cabinets, counter tops, appliances, tables, and all high touch surfaces.
-Soft surfaces are sanitized using a CDC approved disinfectant. Soft surfaces include all couches, chairs, carpets, rugs, mattresses and comforters.
-Laundry is carefully collected and removed from each cabin. Laundry is brought to our private facility located at our main office. All linens including towels, wash cloths, sheets, blankets, pillow covers, and pillow encasements will be laundered and fresh prior to a guest’s check-in.
-Outdoor furniture and grills are cleaned and disinfected with an appropriate CDC recommended product.
-Hot tubs have always been serviced, cleaned and sanitized prior to a guest’s arrival. Additionally, the hot tub cover will be disinfected using an appropriate CDC recommended solution.
-Check in procedures will change considerably. For your peace of mind and safety, we are offering contact free check-in and check-out. Simply follow the contact free check in directions provided when you book your stay, and you can head straight to your cabin! No need to see another soul, just you, your cabin, and the fresh air of the Hocking Hills. And of course, our staff is always just a phone call away, should you ever need anything
While we can be as thorough as possible, please continue to practice the CDC recommendations of 6 feet of social distancing and wearing masks should you choose to go out, cancelling if you are experiencing any symptoms, and frequently washing hands. We wish for everyone to remain responsibly cautious during this time in order to limit the spread.
