How far are your cabins from the State Parks and Other Area Attractions?

All our cabins are centrally and conveniently located in the heart of Hocking Hills. Hocking Hills is a very large area and many attractions are spread out. Depending on where you want to go, all major State Parks, as well as, restaurants, adventure sports, grocery stores, etc… are within an approximate 15 minute drive from your cabin.

What is the minimum age requirement to rent?

All our cabins require the responsible party (renter) to be a minimum of 25 years of age. Our Wildcat Lodge and Rock Hollow cabin requires the responsible party to be a minimum of 30 years of age. Please note that the responsible party must provide their driver’s license and credit card at the time of check-in.

What time is check-in and check-out?

All cabins are guaranteed to be ready at 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of your arrival. You will receive a “pre-arrival” email regarding check-in procedures 1-2 days prior to your scheduled arrival date; however, currently all check-ins occur directly at the cabin or lodge you reserve.

Check-out time is strictly at 11:00 a.m. unless prior approval is granted in writing.

Do you allow pets?

Sorry, NO pets are allowed at any of our properties. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our cabins, including those who may be sensitive or susceptible to pet allergies. Our cabins are inspected thoroughly prior to and after each reservation. Any evidence of a Pet would incur a minimum $250 charge, plus any expenses incurred to restore the premises back to its original condition.

Do you allow smoking?

All cabins are smoke-free. No smoking is permitted inside of any cabin. Please respect your surroundings and do not litter or throw cigarette butts on the ground. If it is determined that smoking has occurred inside of a cabin, there will be a $250 charge + damages – no exception.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Cancellations more than 30 days (60 days for our Wildcat Lodge) in advance of your scheduled arrival will receive a full refund less a $150 processing fee.
  • Cancellations within 30 days (60 days for our Wildcat Lodge) of your scheduled arrival will receive no refund unless a new reservation takes the place of the cancelled dates. Any refund received will be equal to the new rental secured or a full refund, whichever is less, plus a $150 processing fee.
  • No refunds or credits for late arrivals or early departures.
  • No cancellations or refunds due to inclement weather.
  • Any change(s) made to reservations (including dates) after processing is subject to the cancellation policy and/or a $50 processing fee will be charged.
  • No refund will be given for all or part of your party not showing up for your reservation.

Do you require a security deposit?

On the scheduled day of your arrival a $500 ($1,000 for our Wildcat Lodge) authorization “hold” will be placed against the Renter’s credit card on file. A receipt is emailed for this transaction. The authorization “hold” will be released within 3 days of departure after our staff has a chance to verify the condition of the property.

What are you payment/deposit requirements?

    • Any reservation made 31 days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival requires 50% of the total charge be paid at the time of reservation. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your credit card in full 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival (60 days for our Wildcat Lodge).
    • Any reservation made within 30 days of your scheduled arrival (60 days for our Wildcat Lodge) requires 100% of the total charge be applied to your credit card at the time of reservation.
    • For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard & Discover credit cards only.
    • We do not accept American Express or personal checks.
    • Certified checks and/or money orders will be accepted if reservation is made more than 30 days (60 days for our Wildcat Lodge) in advance of scheduled arrival date; however, a credit card must be provided for security deposit. (Please call for arrangements).
    • Please note: The responsible person making the reservation must provide the credit card used, as well as, driver’s license at the time of check-in.

What if I don't have a firm head count when booking a cabin?

We understand when booking your cabin far in advance that sometimes it is difficult to have a solid head count.  If this is the case and as long as you know the cabin and dates you would like to reserve, feel free to book for only the base number of people for your cabin.  As late as the week of your arrival you can modify your reservation to add additional guests up to the max. occupancy and pay for the additional charges at that point in time.
